MEET OUR PHYSICIAN
Dr Sanghamitra Sadhu, MD
She was born and raised in India where she did medical school from one of the nation’s premier institutions, Christian Medical College and Hospital, Vellore- which is known the world over for its mission of service.
She moved to the United States to pursue residency in Internal Medicine, followed by fellowship in Nephrology, both at University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital. There, under the tutelage of brilliant mentors, she honed her knowledge and skills at treating diseases of the kidney and hypertension.
Dr Sadhu is ABMS (American Board of Medical Sciences) board certified in Nephrology and a member of American Society of Nephrology.
Recognizing the systemic nature of disease, she chose to become a diplomate of ABOM (American Board of Obesity Medicine), as well- so that she is able to meet the needs of the many patients whose disease states are complicated by obesity.
Dr Sadhu considers it a privilege to take care of her patients and truly thrives on going above and beyond. When not busy with the practice, you will find her running after her littles and spending time with friends.
